This semester, the Water Quality Monitoring for Diarrheal Pathogens started. The goal is to find the most efficient way to test the raw source water and treated water of AguaClara plants in Honduras for Diarrheal Pathogens and other bacterias. This ideal process is going to be tested by varying turbidity, pump speed, pore size of filter membrane, and location of the in-line/parallel filters. Richardson Lab has been working on this topic. Collaborating with the lab, we are going to train a AguaClara member with the developed protocols on sample filtration and send the member to the AguaClara January trip to Honduras.
