My goal this semester is to help the "Rapid mix team" in designing is to asses the utility of a contact chamber that would allow coagulant to diffuse to particle surfaces while minimizing the loss of nano-clusters. Also in reducing the nanocluster loss to the flocculator walls. The coagulant properties and the variation in the coagulant attachment with the changing diameter were studied. Also I plan on trying to find out what limits the deposition of particles on the inside of a flocculator tube.
