Fall 2016 Contributions

This is my first semester working with AguaClara and I will be on the fluoride team. We will be optimizing the geometry and configuration of the reactor to reduce settling at the base and increase flocculation. We will also determine the optimum height of the floc blanket in the reactor. Our primary tests will be using red dye in place of fluoride but after the optimal system is determined we will use fluoride and test to see if clay is necessary to improve flocculation.
