As of Spring 2016:

This semester Public Relations team aims to increase awareness on Campus about AguaClara through multiple projects and to build relationships with alumni.

AguaClara Public Relations team recognizes the importance of spreading the news about AguaClara's work on campus. This semester, we hope to accomplish three projects: one social fundraiser, one collaborative event, and one AguaClara merchandise sales. All these projects strive to share with the Cornell community about the mission and accomplishments of AguaClara. Moreover, we will actively release advertisement publications, such as virtual posters on the Hollister Main Lobby Screen and quartercards. We will also utilize social media, Facebook and Twitter, to showcase the talents within the AguaClara team.

In terms of alumni relations, we wish to form connections with our AguaClara alumni by sending them a monthly newsletter. This newsletter provides updates of the current happenings on AguaClara. We understand that alumni serves as a major support for AguaClara and we would like to strengthen this network.

Lastly, we are glad to receive SAFC funding for the Public Relations team which will enable us to create further impact. We will use this funding to order and manage new resources for the team, such as team polos. With these resources, we will be able to represent AguaClara at various events in a professional manner.

This is an exciting semester for the Public Relations team and we look forward to sharing the meaningful efforts of AguaClara to provide safe drinking water to communities in need.
