  1. Tentative travel plans for remainder of grant period.  A F2F meeting at Columbia regarding Korean processing and the impact of the TSI collaboration is still in the works for sometime during the next few weeks.  The E-Resources Team may also be planning to meet (Jesse and Joyce will discuss this in their next TSI call).  The proposed Non-MARC Metadata Team and LD4P meetings are not likely to occur before the end of the calendar year.  If there is grant money remaining for this trip, we will inquire with Mellon (and with our own finance offices) whether we can defer this spending until 2016.  If the Mellon money is not available, we will need to request local funding for this meeting.
  2. Outstanding deliverables for Mellon.  We talked about a number of activities that we're going to need to wrap up by the end of 2015 --
    1. Cornell's decision to move forward towards an implementation of a Kulai OLE ILS in 2017.
      1. Formation of a "formal alliance of technical services operations" – Kate and Jim will draft an outline of the mainstreaming plan for JSMIN review, based on our discussion of this issue in our August JSMIN meeting
      2. Assessment of "qualitative improvements in service and support for the collections, as well as savings and cost avoidance ... at the conclusion of the project" – Jesse and Joyce will continue to work with Kizer and Jeff to determine or estimate the extent of savings generated by joint 2CUL acquisitions and licensing negotiations;  Bob and Xin have pledged support for the effort to establish this number – see #1 in the TSI-related notes from the 2CUL Steering Committee meeting on 9/28
      3. Develop and implement guidelines for negotiating as 2CUL with material vendors – Jesse and Joyce will complete the updates to these documents; Bob and Xin can help with this as well, if collection development reps are slow in responding – see #1 in the TSI-related notes
      4. Presentations and publications to keep the research library community informed – JSMIN members will review the 2CUL Articles & Presentations page to ensure that all of our formal TSI-related speaking and writing in 2015 appears there
    2. Cornell's decision to move forward towards an implementation of a Kuali OLE ILS in 2017; Columbia's decision to defer for at least another two years.  We agreed that the joint effort that brought Cornell and Columbia to the decision to part ways on LMS implementation was worthwhile
