- Find system's IP address. Use ChemIT inventory, CU AD, or go to the machine itself:

- How to find your computer's MAC address (and IP address)
- Go to DNS DB to change the IP address. Ensure no IP number conflicts (in last number) as you change the first number from or to "10".
- Lookup the current IP address
- Determine new address (including subnet change, if any)
- Edit the subnet for the IP Address
- Note available address #. (10.space, different regular, etc.)
- Find & Edit the existing DNS Entry.
- Change the IP Address & save.
- Alternate - Delete old DNS entry
- Note all DNS data entries - MAC address, CNames, notest, etc.
- Delete existing DNS entry.
- Create new dns entry with an available address on the desired subnet.
- Add all needed info from the original DNS entry.
- Select and Use links at:
- CIT network tools
=> "Host list"
