Fall 2013 Contributions
Songlin is an Environmental Engineering MEng student focusing on Fluid Mechanics & Hydrology discipline. This fall, Songlin worked on Design Team tasking on create appropriate sections cut for AguaClara Plant. By the end of Fall 2013, our sub team made code for AutoCAD creating different section cuts for Sedimentation Tank, Flocculator, Entrance Tank, and Filters automatically. Our goal for future work was to make cuts automatically labeled and dimensioned in AutoCAD.
Spring 2014 Contributions
Songlin continued working on Section Cuts in Spring 2014. The task for this term was to optimize each section cut graphs, fix errors and give informative graphs. I decided not to include dimensions for every cut because there was a lot of pain to do the coding. By the end of Spring 2014, section cuts part was done. And I continued helping with updating Sedimentation Tank. The work I have done so far was successfully put support pipes under plate settlers in Sedimentation Tank.
