        This graph is plotted on a semi-log scale and shows how the effluent turbidity changes versus the flow rate through the tube settler for the first experiment performed (tube diameter = 9.5 mm, ramp function implemented).  While this is not exactly what the team was looking for in terms of a turbidity trace, it seems to provide an interesting starting point for analysis.  The peak in this plot represents the point at which all particle sizes of the floc system were captured, and this corresponds to a specific capture velocity.  This capture velocity can then be compared to critical velocities and particle diameter sizes.
