Alex Alexandra is really excited to be an MEng student candidate in the EWRS track here at Cornell and she can't wait to get started working the LFSRSF Team!Environmental and Water Resource Systems Engineering track.  She graduated from Princeton in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Engineering.  

This fall, Alexandra joined the Low Flow Stacked Rapid Sand Filter team and the 4" filter sub-team.  She and her teammate, Jeanette, have constructed a manometer to test the backwash initiator on the existing filter.  To date, we have attached the manometer to the filter and are constructing a way to quantify the effects of the backwash initiator.
