This Halfway through the semester, I constructed a model for our team called "The Caterpillar" which has since proven to be our best performing design. Ju Khuan and I compiled the results from experimentation with our various models and the documentation of that can be found here. This document helped us to determine recommendations for existing plants in Honduras.
Our team is finishing the semester by drawing up design specs to send to Honduras for retrofitting of plants in Agalteca and Marcala. Two members of my team will be going on the trip and can oversee the implementation of our designs. We are hoping to receive feedback from these retrofits so that we can provide more concrete design solutions for future plants, to be coded into the Design Tool.
