To set this up, you will need a NetID and a special URL to your site. To obtain this special URL, you will need to contact our office . Please see 'Getting WebDav' for more detailsor for LAMP and CF9 environments you can visit your site's splash page.
On your Mac:
- In the Mac Finder go to the Go menu
- Select Connect to Server
- Enter the URL you recieved via email as the server address
- You will be prompted to enter your username and password, use your NetID for the username and and the DAV session key for the password. (LAMP/CF9 customers: See the splash page for your LAMP account for information on how to get a DAV session key.)
- To open the site, simply open the server icon which will be located on your desktop.
- Use the Eject command to disconnect from the server when you are finished.
- Before disconnecting, you may wish to create an alias of the server icon for this connection. Connecting through the alias will allow you to skip the first 3 steps of the instructions the next time you connect to your site.

In Dreamweaver:
- Go to your Files panel
- Go to Manage Sites
- Select New or Edit an existing site
- Go to the Advanced tab
- Select Remote Info
- Select WebDav as your Access
- Enter the URL you recieved via email as the URL
- You will be prompted to enter your username and password, use your NetID for the username and and the DAV session key for the password. (LAMP/CF9 customers: See the splash page for your LAMP account for information on how to get a DAV session key.)
- DO NOT HAVE DREAMWEAVER SAVE YOUR PASSWORD
- Fill out your Local Info accordingly
