Danielle Mericle is the Production Coordinator for the Digital Consulting and Production Services Unit at Cornell University's Olin Library. In addition to overseeing the creation of digital content for Olin Library, she serves as project manager for many of University's grant projects.  She has conducted numerous digitization workshops and presented papers at Digital Library Federation, ALA, and the National Archives of Peru. Previously, she worked as the primary photographer for New York Public Library's Digital Unit, working on such diverse projects as Making of America II, Utopia, and Performing Arts in America, 1875-1923. Danielle Mericle holds an MFA from SyracuseUniversity, and has taught photography at a number of institutions, including AlfredUniversity,SyracuseUniversity, and IthacaCollege.

Maaike Oldemans, Fine Arts Library Outreach Services Associate, 607.255.7354

Maaike Oldemans is the Outreach Services Associate of the Fine Arts Library and provides one-on-one and small group instruction and reference services to users in their offices, at the library or in other work spaces.  She holds a bachelors degree in Library Sciences from the Amsterdam Library School and recently obtained a Masters Degree in Library and Information Management from the U.K.'s North Umbria University. Maaike has provided reference services for over 16 years to students and faculty in Academic Libraries and Special Libraries in the Netherlands, Australia and the USA.  As the librarian of the Design Academy in Eindhoven the Netherlands she was involved in the topic of image retrieval.  For her Masters studies she wrote an essay on "image indexing and retrieval" and her Master's thesis concerned the topic of information literacy practices in libraries of the State Universities of New York.

Martha Walker has been the head of the Fine Arts Library, in Sibley Hall, since 2002. She is the selector for architecture, landscape architecture, and city planning resources. From 2002 - 2008 she was also the selector for art and art history resources. In addition to staff supervision, collection building, and unit-level administration, Martha has worked collaboratively with a variety of campus stakeholders to develop Cornell's collections of subscription-based digital image repositories, including ArtStor, Scholar's Resource, and Archivision. In order to support users in their transition from analog to digital images, Martha was an early proponent and frequent participant in user education initiatives.
