- Validation of CFD models in terms of energy dissipation map: compare different turbulence models and with experimental data, and generate a reliable energy dissipation map
- Further work with 3D k-epsilon realizable turbulence model
- Solve the puzzle of different predictions from 2D and periodic 3D models
- Run simulation on SGI servers
- Check grid convergence of 3D models with different meshes and the sensitivity of the solutions to other parameters
- Run simulations with Reynolds Stress Model
- Start from 2D simulation, with default parameter settings
- Check grid convergence and the sensitivity of the solutions to other parameters
- Compare model performance(time,convergence, etc.) with other models
- Case and literature research
- Literature research on turbulence models
