On Wednesday 1.28 we decided on where the the pipe to the distribution tank would leave the plant. We also confirmed the levels of the walkway around the flocculation and sedimentation tanks and discussed how the cement covers on the cleaning valve channel should be designed.
Antonio also did a complete inventory of the construction materials left in storage. There is a form that the president of the Junta, Jorge was supposed to be in charge of updating. All the materials entering and leaving the storage shed are noted on the form. However, since sometimes Jorge is not there when construction is taking place, some of the information is missing.
Antonio had the chance to reaffirm the importance of transparency and keeping track of materials. This will also help the AguaClara team compare what was used with what was originally budgeted.
