Tuesday, 11.25 we will present to the mayor various other interested parties in Gracias about the possibility of a plant there. We will also travel to Atima, Santa Barbara (one of the communities suggested to us by a Peace Corps volunteer) to meet with the mayor there.

UNAH Conference on Sanitation and the Environment: Foro Saneamiento Ambiental

Friday 11.21 the AguaClara team and Jacobo attended a conference on sanitation and the environment hosted "Foro Saneamiento Ambiental" sponsored by the Industrial Engineering students at the UNAH (Universidad National Autonoma de Honduras) took place on Friday November 21st. The event was put on by the Department of Industrial Engineering at the National University. The same class of industrial engineering students that visited the Ojojona plant a couple months ago hosted the conference.
The event included Engineer Miguel Omar Montoya representing the World Health Organization and the Panamerican Health Organization, and Pedro Ortiz of SANAA.
We would like to work more closely with Pedro Ortiz.
