A new 90 mph wind tunnel with a 3 foot x 4 foot test section has been purchased by Cornell and installed in a nearby laboratory building. This project would be to become familiar with wind tunnel testing, establish the auxiliary equipment and instrumentation to use with this wind tunnel, and carry out some initial tests in the wind tunnel. Some initial tests will involve automobile aerodynamics. Interest in fluid mechanics and hands on experiments and some past or concurrent fluid mechanics course background needed.
