Promoted by the Obama Administration and medical community as a bold new research effort to revolutionize how we improve health and treat disease, precision medicine customizes healthcare, with medical decisions, practices, and/or products being tailored to the individual patient.

We are looking for highly motivated students to collaborate with researches at Weill Cornell Medical College to quantify the direct and indirect power consumption to support precision medicine. The responsibilities include, but not limited to, conducting literature reviews, collect energy usage data, create an energy system model to account for the power consumption, and write a journal-quality final report.

We expect that the findings from this research project, if properly done, will receive wide media coverage worldwide.
