We are working with a major telecommunication company to investigate strategies in improving energy efficiency at their facilities. A company facility in Ithaca will be used as a testbed to develop and test those strategies. We will conduct deep energy auditing to quantify the energy flow in the facility, perform simulations based on collected data. Students will work closely with facility engineers and industry practitioners to gain real-world experience in energy management. Paid positions are available for motivated students during winter and summer breaks.
