Several M.Eng. projects are available in support of the dune field research described at http://grainflowresearch.mae.cornell.edu/geophysics/dunes/dunes.html . In particular, Prof. Louge is looking for MEng and/or Senior help completing and running a microgravity experiment on water drops penetrating a porous medium, to be used in a drop tower at Cornell and later in a microgravity airplane.
