Coded aperture ranging is an image ranging technique that allows for the extraction of range information from single images with minor modifications to conventional camera systems.

This project will involve studying existing literature on this technique, designing and manufacturing an aperture mask and designing a set of experiments to calibrate and demonstrate the ranging technique.

A group of 2-3 students is preferred, but individual applicants will be accepted.
