Release Notes

Build on June 25, 2011 (KFS-PROD 6-26 Patch)

• Scheduled for Sunday maint. window
• CCAB was done, not sure if all approvals went through yet CCAB artf33754
  • Approvals from Barb and Aaron are pending, Bryan approved
  • Mel noted no additional XML or SQL, Kevin uh-huhed

Patches

• Account Verification WebService is already in KFS-TEST
• Mel asked if Kevin indicated SQL, etc. in release notes (so far just for the KITI JIRAs)
  • May not if it is independent of code
    • See environments JIRA 2324
• What should we do in terms of CCAB?
• Bryan noted leveraging JIRA to do release notes in the environments project
  • Add versions we can include with the KITI release notes
  • Mel will look at KITI project and duplicate it

7/5 patch Build on July ??, 2011 (KFS-PROD 7-5 Patch)

• Will want to put into KFS-TEST on Monday morning maybe 8am?
• Bryan will created KUALIENVMGMT-2363 Patch Tag build job (kfs-7-5-patch)
  • Will need to supply the Maven artifact ID deploy job (kfs-war-3.0.1-7/5/patch)
    • Kevin noted that he made the name longer so the file isn't overwritten during daily KFS-DEV builds
• Mel asked what is the sign off procedure?
  • Both Barb and Bryan approve prior to committing to build
• KFS Production Application Change Control Process

Bryan noted that he has scheduled weekly patches out through August

• Mainly during Sunday maintenance windows
• If we don't need them we won't use them
• Planning on sending an email
