My name is Kwame Nana Atoo, a BFA senior with a concentration in electronic imaging. I am taking this course to satisfy one of my art history courses but also more importantly, through out my years of studying in art school there has been less discussions and knowledge shared on what really happens in the art world/market. I am hoping to gain the some in depth understanding about what goes on in the art market and how it works.
As an artist my practice involves working in 3-dimensionals i.e. traditional sculpting, 3d modeling and simulating, animation and multimedia. What I have currently started to develop interest in is how to merge new media technology to traditional art making.
I am from Ghana and came to the United State to study in 2007. This is the first time I am taking an online class. I love to cook and learn new languages.
Am excited about this class.

Kwame! so glad to know someone else taking the course! For anyone who doesn't know Kwame and I, we're both Art majors and were flat mates in Rome for a semester.
