Good morning,

My name is Elena Cestero and I am currently employed at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine as an Administrative Assistant.  I graduated from Wellesley College in 2007 with a degree in Latin American Studies. During my time at Wellesley I studied abroad in both Mexico and Spain.  Ithaca is my hometown and I returned after graduation to seek employment.  I love art and have been considering returning to school to study art history, and I hope this class will provide me with a better idea of whether or not that is the path I would like to take. I am particularly interested in photography and Latin American art.  In the past two years my husband and I have acquired a few works of art including a Thomas Barbèy photograph and paintings by friend and Mexican artist Alfonso Fernandez that have piqued my interest in the art market and this particular class. I am also very excited to be taking a class taught by a fellow Wellesley sister!
