Weekly Assignments:

Creating content for your Wiki is the biggest assignment that you will undertake for this course. Your wiki is truly a collaborative tool, and that's how we will use it in the coming weeks! 

Approach these assignments innovatively and make the most of the multi media tools available to you.

Getting Started Assignment: Learn how to use your wiki by creating an online profile for yourself on our About Us page. Tell us about yourself, your major and why you chose this course. Include at least 5 links to other internet pages.  Please remember to include a photograph of yourself! Deadline Tuesday 3 January, 10am (EST). Graded as part of Week 1 Assignments (see below).

Assignment 1. Week 1. Complete the daily assignments provided and the comments requested by following instructions at the top of each wiki page. Deadline 10am (ET) the next day (i.e. the assignment for Day 2 is due at by 10 am on Day 3). Using whatever media you wish (text, pictures, video, audio plug ins) Generate discussion, highlight issues, stress points of interest, ask questions and respond to answers. Ensure that your assignment is ready for others to respond to (10 am ET). Remember to participate in the discussions related to the topic by engaging in the conversations generated in the comments box at the bottom of your page. You will be evaluated based on the type of materials you research and provide for each assignment, the mode of presentation, the amount of links and your ability to engage others with issues raised in your assignment post and in your comments box. Your completed assignments and comments on the wiki pages for week 1 represent a total of 20 % of your final grade

Assignment  2. Weeks 2 & 3. Complete the assignments provided and the comments requested by following instructions at the top of each wiki page. Deadline 10am (ET) the next day. Using whatever media you wish (text, pictures, video, audio plug ins) Generate discussion, highlight issues, stress points of interest, ask questions and respond to answers. Ensure that your assignment is ready for others to respond to (10 am ET). Remember to participate in the discussions related to the topic by engaging in the conversations generated in the comments box at the bottom of your page. Your completed assignments and comments on these wiki pages represent a total of 40 % of your final grade, that is, 20% each for weeks 2 & 3.

Assignment 3Weeks 1, & 3. Comment on the content of other's pages by joining discussions at the bottom of each day's pages.

Comments: 5% of your weekly grade is based on your comments to other's work and comments (included in the percentages noted above). 

Assignment 4.  Final Presentation: Create a wiki presentation based on an Art Market topic of your own choice. Post your presentation to your own wiki page created by us for you, with your name and choice of title. Your final presentations should be worked on throughout the three week session, your Outline due date is Friday 13 January (10%). Publication due date is Friday 20 January. (30%). Final Presentation total 40% of your final grade.
