Directions from wedding location to dinner (3 ways)

Please consider carpooling from the wedding! Although Thursday evening is not the busiest time, parking is on street or in a shared lot, and could be tight.

  • The dinner will be held at Word of Mouth, located at 37 W Main St., Trumansburg, NY 14886.  GPS should work to that location.
  • Follow these directions from Podunk Rd:
    • when leaving the wedding, turn right on to Podunk Rd toward Swamp College Rd (0.4 mi)

    • Turn right onto Swamp College Rd and go to Hallseyville Rd. (the first cross street) (1.1 mi)

    • Turn left onto Halseyville Rd and go to Rt. 96. (1.2 mi)

    • Turn left onto NY-96 N and proceed into the Village of Trumansburg.  Rt. 96 becomes Main St. (1.7 mi)

    • Word of Mouth is located in the heart of the Village.  You will pass by NAPA Auto Parts (on the right)

    • Word of Mouth is on the left.  For parking, please see immediately below.

  • Use this map below.  The best route is shown in blue.  (Click on it for a larger image.)

Parking

  • Word of Mouth is represented in orange.
  • Parking in the vicinity is represented in green.  Parking is on the street (parallel parking) or in the lot of Atlas Bowl.  Note that the lot belongs to Atlas. We don't anticipate issues with using the lot, especially if you park furthest from Word of Mouth, to avoid conflict with Atlas customers during their business hours.
  • For those with mobility issues, it is best to follow the route marked in blue.  This will take you into the carwash where you can take a u turn as shown below, and pull over near the exit drive where the yellow square is indicated.  This will allow those with mobility issues to exit onto a firm level walk and proceed to the venue.

Entrance

  • Word of Mouth has three doors.  Use the east-most door, marked in this picture with the arrow.
