  • Alerts from other Web 2.0 services (Twitter, FB fan pages, etc)

Examples:

Loan of devices: for reserves, for use as ereaders, digital recorders, etc.

Tours and orientation

  • Virtual tours (video, QR codes, cell phone)
  • Attaching pieces of information to physical locations (exhibits, items of interest, services, instructions)
  • Augmented reality--being able to navigate your way to a book in the stacks
