25min | Update from staff digital signage team | Nick, Matt, Selena, Camille | - Looked at CountIt for some insight, but not super helpful (not many details)
- Referred to some of Nick's service desk observations and Ryan's survey of student staff from service desk communication team (where did student employees go to get information from - usually from staff member)
- Staff want to know what's happening in each rooms throughout the day, when keys for loan are coming back
- Will create Google Doc with different data sources that Nick will annotate with difficulty level; will create a mock-up of what this would look like and share with Access Services and Reference desk staff for feedback
- Idea is to have digital signage for staff live on a website that we could bookmark on the browsers at the desk computers - need a more rapid method of accessing that information

20min | Reservable study rooms - Cost of replacing door handles
- How many rooms do we want to switch to reservation system?
- Digital signage?
| Tobi & Sara | - Pros and cons of making all the rooms reservable include students not being able to lock up their belongings; no first come, first served rooms anymore; non-students (faculty, staff) could also make reservations; to authenticate with NetID, we would need to get all CUL to agree because it would impact all spaces & equipment
- Other options:
- Could move all group rooms to reservation system
- Keep graduate study rooms on key system
- Move all individual rooms on 2nd floor to reservation system
- Decision: move all non-graduate rooms to reservation system!
- Next steps: Nick will look into Shibboleth authentication for LibCal; Tobi and Sara can talk to other CUL stakeholders about implications; will need to change the Mann website, esp. homepage study space display; will forgo digital signage for now and see if there are any problems; will need to promote the change

10min | Update on graduate study area renovation - Accessibility ramp
- Furniture order
| Sara | - Postponed until next meeting!
|
5min | Co-chairs for next year | Tobi & Sara | - Matt interested! Camille will consider

Good news!
We can activate CUWebLogin (via Springshare's LibAuth module) at the location level within the Equipment & Spaces module. So, we can activate it for the Mann Library location which means every reservation for any Mann space (current count: 16) or equipment (66) would require authentication.
We'll want to test this of course, but in theory this change in configuration shouldn't affect any other CUL location within the E&S module and also should not affect any of the other modules (calendars, appointments, etc).
