Create a custom package 

Preconditions

  • Minimum permissions assigned: eHoldings: Can create and delete custom packages and titles; eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records; eHoldings: Can select/unselect packages and titles to/from your holdings

Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Under the Search and Filter pane, select Packages toggle
  3. Click New button on the Package screen (also known as the second pane)
    1. In the upper right-hand corner
  4. Fill in at least the required fields (marked with asterisk)
  5. Click "Save"

Expected Result

Custom package created


Add a title to a custom package 

Preconditions

  • Minimum permissions assigned: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records

Steps

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Search a title
  3. Access the title detail record by clicking on the title
  4. Click button "add to custom package"
  5. Choose a package and add a custom URL
  6. Click button "Submit"

Expected Result

Chosen title is associated with a custom package

Create a custom title

Please note it may take up to 2 hours for the custom title to display in the eHoldings app.

  1. Go to the eHoldings app
  2. Select the Titles tab in "search & filter"
  3. Click button "new"
  4. Fill out at least the required fields (identified with an asterisk)
  5. Save

Expected Result

Custom title is created.
