Add a package to holdings

Preconditions

Minimum permissions assigned: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records and eHoldings: Can select/unselect packages and titles to/from your holdings

Steps

  1. Go to eHoldings app
  2. Search for <package name> in "Packages" and set the Selection status filter "Not selected"
  3. Select a package by clicking on it
  4. Click Actions dropdown menu and "Add package to holdings" OR Click the Add package to holdings button on the package record
  5. View the Add package to holdings modal
  6. Click the Add package (all titles) to holdings button

Expected Result

  • Package selection status is now Selected
  • Under Titles accordion on the package record, all titles should display Selected icon and message

Remove a package from holdings


Preconditions

Minimum permissions to assign: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records, eHoldings: Can select/unselect packages and titles to/from your holdings

Steps

  1. Go to eHoldings app
  2. Search for <package name> in "packages" and set the Selection status filter to "Selected"
  3. Select a package
  4. Click Actions dropdown menu and select "Remove from holdings"
  5. On confirmation modal, click "Yes, remove" button

Expected Result

  • Package will change selection status from "selected" to "not selected"; package is removed from holdings
  • Under Titles accordion on the package record, all titles should display Not selected icon and message



Add a title in a package to holdings 

Preconditions

  • Minimum permissions assigned: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records and eHoldings: Can select/unselect packages and titles to/from your holdings

Steps

  1. Go to eHoldings app
  2. Search a title in the Search & filter panel – (click the Titles toggle)
  3. Select a title from Results list
  4. Go to Packages accordion
  5. Click on a Package that is Not Selected
  6. Click Add to holdings button

Expected Result

Title is added to holdings

Remove a title in a package from your holdings 

Preconditions

  • Minimum permissions assigned: eHoldings: Can edit providers, packages, titles detail records and eHoldings: Can select/unselect packages and titles to/from your holdings

Steps

  1. Go to eholdings app
  2. Search a title
  3. Choose a title from Results list
  4. Go to Packages accordion
  5. Click on a Package that is Selected
  6. Click Actions menu drop down in title detail record
  7. Choose "remove title from holdings"
  8. Confirm with "Yes, remove"

Expected Result

Title in that package is removed from your holdings.
