Dear LibGuide Authors:

In order to integrate and list our various Subject Guides, and related Course Guides, by subject, you will need to follow these procedures when you publish a new LibGuide.

For new Course LibGuides:

1.  When you PUBLISH a new LibGuide you are asked to Associate your guide with one or more Subjects from a pull-down menu. Select the subject, COURSE GUIDES.

2.  Do NOT select any other Subject for your guide.

3.  You will now "associate" your new guide with other Subjects (e.g. Linguistics, Language and Literature) by using the appropriate tags from the EDIT TAGS link under GUIDE SETTINGS in the yellow tool bar at the top of your guide.  You will now find new tags for all of our DRC subjects (e.g. linguistics_language_literature) listed there.

By following these conventions, your Course LibGuide will be listed as a Related Course Guide under the list of Subject Guides for your chosen Subject.

For new Subject LibGuides and other non-course LibGuides:

1.  When you PUBLISH your new Subject LibGuide, use the pull-down menu to select the Subjects you want your guide to be "associated" with or listed under (e.g. Linguistics, Language and Literature or Arts and Humanities or both).

2.  But do NOT use the corresponding DRC subjects tags (e.g. linguistics_language_literature) when you add tags to your guide.

If your Subject Guide was NOT created with the LibGuides software, contact Tony Cosgrave (ajc5) or Camille Andrews (ca92)to have the guide added to the library home page Research Guides list.
