Ben Bowers
My name is Ben Bowers. I was born in San Diego CA but was raised in the North Tonawanda, NY (Buffalo area). After graduating high school I went into the military to get money for college. In the Marine Corps I was an avionics technician and Aircraft electrician. After the military I went back to school and earned my undergraduate degree in physics from the University at Buffalo and my Masters degree in Education from Niagara University. I am currently teaching at Corning Painted post East High school where I teach 2 courses in IB Physics, 1 in Regents Physics, and 1 Regents Chemistry course. I serve as the senior building rep at East High for the Corning Teachers' Association. My interests are woodworking and I am an avid DIYer. Currrent projects include upgrading electrical service and I am now in the construction phase of adding radiant floor heating to my house. I look forward to starting this program in July.
