Accident/ Injury Reporting

  • Review of draft procedure for the Undergraduate teaching labs (see attached document)
    • Tom Rutteledge averse to the idea of following up with the TA to ensure that info has been logged into the University system……too many emails
      • Suggestion of setting filter for these emails
    • Suggestion to have Safety Manager follow-up to ensure that the information has been entered into the electronic system
    • Questions as to who enters the data
    • Suggestion to try the system

THF spill 09/07/2011 110 baker Lab sent for review and comment following the meeting
Chad Lewis agreed to serve as a resource to the DiSalvo group since he uses a similar system as does Prof. Sogah, Dichtel, Coates and Lewis.

Action Items:
Keane to schedule 2nd safety committee meeting for end of fall semester.
Rachna to draft new proposal for alternate experiment using approved form
