Subject: Physics non-research web sites: Review recommended.

John,

This fall I recommend a review of Physics non-research web sites, of which I currently count 5. Historically some classes have been relying on web services where support is ambiguous. (Ed. see INC000001471625 for example support query.) PhysIT has identified multiple elements on at least one web service that are of a concern, too, FWIW.

To prepare for such a review, if you choose to conduct one, a good place to start might be the documentation I’ve created attempting to, in part, simply characterize what exists in Physics (non-research) website-wise:

https://confluence.cornell.edu/x/qQSHEw

I am available to consult in your review, if you’d like my assistance.

BTW, I created the above documentation page to facilitate us responding to support queries so folks with questions or concerns knew who to go to with the least amount of ambiguity and guessing.

-Oliver.
