The <chemfac> email list sends email to CCB faculty. Who should be able to send messages to this list, and what gating of messages is required?

The issue

Currently the list does not allow Safety or Facilities (or ChemIT, etc.) to send a message directly, even in an emergency. This encourages the development of duplicated lists, which seems inefficient and those lists may not be complete. Is there not a better way?

Suggestion, from ChemIT

Add people (or EGAs) to a list and have them not receive emails from that list. Easy to set up:
