IT staff, using their DOC accounts, can edit Cornell's Active Directory.

Quickly use the web

Use your DOC account at:

• https://manage.ad.cornell.edu/
  • https://manage.ad.cornell.edu/adadmin
• Click on Directory Management.
• Path is: Active Directory => cornell.edu => DelegatedObjects

Or: Install Quest on Windows (licensed at Cornell), configure it, and manage AD using that tool.

Use MS's AD tool, which can just run on Windows without run-as Admin or doing an install:
