Occasionally someone will need to have their NetID added to CCB's DreamSpark. Here's how.
1) Confirm you are not already registered with CCB's DreamSpark
- Check if your NetID is already registered by going to the section, "Who in CCB is enrolled in the program?" on CCB's main DreamSpark page.
- Also confirm this software and license is suitable for how you will use it (step 1 of the QuickStart).
2) Request you be added to DreamSpark
NOTE: If you are a temporary staff member, please notify ChemIT you have done this so we know the context of who is making this request. This will make the approval process faster and easier for everyone. Thank you.
- Go to the CCB's DreamSpark WebStore:
- Click on "Start Shopping" (which doesn't look like a link!). Then click on the "Register" button. Enter your NetID@cornell.edu into the "Activate Account" section. In the returned "No matching account was found for the identifier entered" error message, click on "request an account" link. On that form, enter your info, including your NetID@cornell.edu. Under "Issue Description ", please tell us which research group you are in. Thank you.
- This will send an email request to ChemIT, with your particulars.

After ChemIT has processes your request following the above step, you should:
3) Receive an email from DreamSpark with your subscription information, and download your software.
- Your account credential will allow you to download the software (step 3 of the QuickStart).
If you don't get that email from Dreamspark within 2 business days, alert ChemIT, please. Thank you.
