To make sharing posts with users that do not have a WordPress login easier, we have setup the Public Post Preview plugin. This allows you to share a special link with users, who can then view a post without a login for up to 48 hours.
Sharing Post Previews
- To share a post preview, got to the edit screen of any news article, page or Giving Story.
- From there, you will see an "Enable public preview" checkbox in the "Publish" metabox in the top right corner of the admin.
- Copy and paste the URL below this, and then check the "Enable Public Preview" box. This URL can then be shared with guest users.
- Save changes to your page.
- URLs will be available to users for 48 hours after which time, for security reasons, a new URL will be generated.
Note: Post previews will only be available for posts that have not yet been published.
