Background: Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Wandsworth (antigenic formula 39:b:1,2) is a serovar of the O:39 (Q) serogroup. 

Animal reservoir: Serovar Wandsworth was found in frogs, snakes and crickets.

Geographical distribution: Serovar Wandsworth has been found in Germany, China, Thailand, and U.S.

Outbreaks: Outbreaks have been associated with S. Wandsworth.
