Background: Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Molade (antigenic formula 8,20:z10:z6) is a serovar of the O:8(C2-C3) serogroup. 

Animal reservoir: Serovar Molade has been found in chicken. 

Geographical distribution: Serovar Molade has been found in Trinidad, South India, Egypt, New Zealand, UK and the U.S.

Outbreaks: No outbreaks have been associated with S. Molade.
