Jonathan Ludwig is currently engaged in a number of early stage ventures. He
is building a social ratings and feedback app, Smirk. He is also designing the
core protocol and token model for Pack Technologies, a decentralized expert
network. Lastly, he is using his deep experience in credit analysis and investing
to help startups focused on automated and AI-driven investing with product
research and development. Previously, Ledwig worked as a senior analyst
in Barclays’ Distressed and Special Situations Trading group where he was
responsible for making investment recommendations in securities of distressed,
stressed or recovering credits. He was a generalist working across sectors and
across the entire capital structure. Prior to Barclays he was investment banker
at Evercore and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, advising on restructuring and
capital raising transactions. Before that, he also traded a variety of securitized
products on Citi’s mortgage trading desk. He has a B.S. (cum laude) from Cornell
University, where he majored in computer science and electrical engineering,
and an M.B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of
Business.
