At anytime during processing a request may be canceled by the staff.
- From the main menu select Cancel. This will open the Item Cancellation screen as shown in figure 19.1.
- From the list provided select the reason for cancellation.
- If you wish you may send an e-mail to the patron by checking the Send E-mail on this cancellation? check-box.
- If you wish to review the full text of the e-mail before sending check the Review/Edit E-mail before sending? check-box.
- If you wish to add a system alert for the cancellation select the Send System Alert on this Cancellation? check-box.
- You may add additional notes in the space provided. When you are ready click on the Cancel button. The request will be marked as Canceled by Staff; if selected an e-mail or system alert will be sent.
