Summary

This AWS training will introduce you to the AWS Management Tools Suite, which can help you manage AWS resources. We will cover: AWS Systems Manager, which can be leveraged to manage and orchestrate resources in and outside of AWS; CloudWatch, which gathers detailed metrics and logs from AWS resources; and CloudFormation which allows you to define AWS infrastructure as code. The day will be split into several presentation sessions and hands-on labs.

Module 4: Amazon CloudWatch OverviewThis session will provide a closer look at the Amazon CloudWatch service and the various features that allow our customers to gather detailed metrics and logs from various AWS Resources.

Module 6: AWS CloudFormation OverviewDuring this lecture we will be exploring how to leverage CloudFormation to being building your AWS Infrastructure as code. There will be a high level overview of the various features available within CloudFormation.

Module 7: AWS CloudFormation LabThis lab is designed to introduce some advanced features (e.g. Customer Resources, StackSets and Drift) that are available in CloudFormation. The purpose is to provide hands-on experience with them and clarify their use cases.

Module 8: AWS Cost Optimization OverviewIn this module we will focus on discussing the various tools available to customer to optimize cost. There will be demonstration of how to use our tools in your own environment.
