  • Cornell Voyager / RM sync - Cornell plans for loading title/database/provider ID's into Voyager MARC records to be able to connect to license records via API
  • Licensing - Meeting later today -Bill/Susan/Liisa/Colleen
  • Consortial Edition - Sandbox not yet set up.  Joyce sent Scott an email.

-Collections and Notes in RM – I see Columbia has a few collections set up.  Let’s discuss the kinds of uses we might have for Collections and/or Notes for organizing our RM work.

  • Collections - Resources manages at a different site (law, Teachers).  Groups of resources that have a common procedure (Free journals, Streaming, etc...)
  • Notes - Listing subject categories within larger eBook packages

-MARCIVE and other non-SerSol record sets – Some of these are important for Cornell to have set up in RM as we go live with our new public interfaces.  Let’s discuss what we might be able to do at a consortial level to manage these and the pros/cons there-in.

  • Cornell ~14,000 ejournal records not managed in SerSol.  ~12,000 are MARCIVE.
  • Lets try this:
    • Assume we will request SerSol records be made
    • If NO or long delay: create a local record in CE for the resource.
    • Each CUL will "inherit" collection as desired.
    • Variable: what if we want different title lists from the same Resource?
  • To test: can we load "local" collections at CE?
  • What is SerSol "Collection Development" policy regarding adding records that are not yet available?
