Pilot projects
Columbia will be meeting with counsel to discuss use cases for the 2CUL MOU on April 16th. Until then we can continue planning for pilot projects but we shouldn't begin implementation. After this meeting we hope to get an across-the-board green light to proceed with activities like these.
JSMIN agenda for Thurs. April 3
The scheduled meeting overlaps with another that many JSMIN members will have to attend. We will distribute the 2CUL TSI MOU to JSMIN when it is available, and update them on the state of discussions on the 2CUL currency idea when we can, but for now we will cancel this meeting and expect to have a very full agenda at the next one scheduled for May 1.
Other
A decision on the viability of one potential pilot project has been delayed because of the perceived need to consult with higher management before sharing financial information across institutions. The Steering Committee can intervene if necessary when working groups run into issues like this, but for maximum efficiency we should try to ensure that working group members feel authorized to share this kind of information freely within 2CUL.
