1. We discussed the Non-MARC Metadata, Database Maintenance, Monograph Ordering, and Batch Processing charges. We agreed to several across the board changes and will rewrite (or add) the documentation and evaluation components of the charges. We agreed to make some language changes, e.g., change Explore to Evaluate to elicit usable feedback during the test phase of Alma (or other shared system) implementation. We added a directive to Batch Processing to monitor Blacklight development for possible implications for record processing. We will add Sarah Elman to the Ordering Team but not the Batch Processing Team.
2. We will seek advice from assessment experts within 2CUL on methods to evaluate cost/benefit in different areas. We agreed that the Functional Teams will give feedback to TSI and JSMIN and not be solely responsible for cost benefit analysis.
