Thirty-five attendees representing educational institutions, service hubs, commercial vendors, and international collaborations will attend this month's two-day IMLS Shareable Authorities Forum. Among recent additions to the project group is a NISO representative.
The meeting agenda has been finalized, and a background paper has been made available to help frame the discussions. The format of the meeting will focus on a series of lightning talks by project participants to be followed by extended discussion sessions. Presentation topics will range from organizational use cases and service hub workflows to experimental pilot projects, data enrichment services, and emerging roles for vendors. Following the meeting we will report outcomes and next steps.
