Hi all,
My name is Charles Saunders, though I go by my middle name, Evan. I am definitely new to the online course format and Confluence, so I hope this page uploads correctly. I am a senior in the college of arts and sciences majoring in Economics. I am from San Francisco, California and enjoy playing and watching sports, reading, and staying active on campus. I have two little sisters who both go to school on the east coast-my mother went to Wellesley as well. I hope everyone had a relaxing time during the holidays and is looking forward to starting the next semester. Let's hope Ithaca stays snow-less so we can have a warm spring.
My coursework has been concentrated in finance and so this class is a little out of the ordinary for me, and while it fills an arts requirement, I have always been interested in the subject matter since I took several Art History classes in high school, and so taking a course that combines art history and the economics associated with it was an easy decision. I am excited to begin and meet all of you, and hope the rest of the break goes well.
