Scan Item Now: This will open the Ares scanning window, or "Upload Reserve Item" window. Please refer to chapter 10 on page 65 for more detail of this window.

Scan Item Later: This option places the currently selected item into the "Awaiting Scanning" queue.

Available At Desk: This option will move the item to "Item Available at Reserves Desk",and make it visible to students of that class.

Route To Acquisitions: This option will place the item in the "Awaiting Acquisitions Fulfillment" queue and depending on the system settings will either send an e-mail and/or generate a printed request.

Recall Item: This option places the item in the "Awaiting Recall Processing" queue so that a recall processing slip may be generated later.

Email Routing: This option will provide you with a drop down menu of all the available emails allowing you to send a formatted e-mail to a instructor and place the item in a different queue for further processing.

Change Status to: This option will provide you with a drop down menu of all the available queues allowing you to manually move the current item into another queue for processing.
