Discussion about the inaugural JSMIN meetings
Robert spilled his tea. Nobody injured. Then we discussed last week's JSMIN meetings.
How do we prevent things from falling through the cracks between TSI SG and JSMIN? Does JSMIN need its own basecamp, for example? How will JSMIN track its work? For now we will keep to-do items in the meeting notes. We will revisit this if TSI SG can't keep track of JSMIN activities using its existing tools. JSMIN can use the restricted section of the TSI wiki for document management.
Colleen emphasized the urgency of addressing the 1199 union issues as they relate to e-resources troubleshooting integration moving forward. (Kate asked Bob to meet with her and Colleen)
We need to write the phase 2 charges. Revise membership, if necessary. Phase 2 charge should include:
- recommendations and give our red, yellow, green directives
- suggested timelines
- articulation of expected pros and cons and a plan for periodic evaluation
- communication plan
Next TSI SG meeting: Discuss charges, memberships
