  • Roll out latency fix to all instances - DONE on 8/4/10
  • CFFile not showing files via webDAV (webDAV/SVN fix will take care of this) - DONE on 5/11/11
  • Install CF 9.0.1 on all instances
  • Install CF 9.0.1 on all instances as the base install - DONE 8/5/2011
  • Make sure all landing pages are the most recent - Puppet functionality
  • Add URL column to Instances page
  • isca-cfd instance "custom tag" directory not in same location. Make sure base install and other instances are setup correctly. See (INC000000407736) for more details.
  • Fix AWStats and include AWStats by default, and add to Splash page
  • Make sure all commonly used MIME types are installed by default. See (INC000000443568) for more details.
  • Remove CF dependency for splash page. If Jrun is down, users need to get to the Utilities page to restart it, and most use the splash page.
  • Setup Mail settings in default install to use adminapp.smtp.cornell.edu
  • Change default Sandbox security so that it's turned off
    • or Change default Sandbox security to:
      add all permissions (Read,Write,Execute,Delete) to the following two locations (replace "dpb-prod" with instance name)    + /infra/coldfusion/mounts/dpb/dpb-prod/server/SERVER-INF/temp/-
         + /infra/coldfusion/mounts/dpb/dpb-prod/server/cfusion.ear/cfusion.war/WEB-INF/cfclasses/-
       - (the - at the end applies the permission recursively to subdirectories)
  • Make sure "logs" directory is web accessible from virtual host and vanity urls
  • OID and JDBC Thin client available - Potential fix: http://dx4.org/linux/coldfusionoid.html
  • Install Grid agents on every VM - DONE 8/3/2011
  • Sorry Services using HW load balancer to detect outages along the entire stack
  • Automated restart of Jrun if hung
  • Upgrade RAM to 4GB on all VMs (make default for new) - DONE 9/18/11
  • Figure out with S&O why VMs go to sleep when not in use. Is it a setting? Oracle DB driver?
  • Authentication integration with ColdFusion – issue with CUWebAuth (currently not bringing cookie) - should be resolved with new version of CUWebAuth
    • Fedora issue
    • Webservice does not work
    • Horizontal scaling does not work (Load Balancing)
  • Duplicate emails sent when VMs are horizontal scaled
  • Default JDK version (1.6.0_17) needs to be updated to latest version for Commonspot v6.2
  • Verify All datasources not working - Fixed with Hotfix http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/907/cpsid_90784.html - Need to add to default install
